2007 Annual Meeting


The 2007 ACPA meeting (hosted by Marquette University) will be held November 9-11, 2007, at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center.


ACPA Meeting in Milwaukee, WI, November 9-11, 2007: “Freedom, Will, and Nature”

The plenary speakers for the 2007 Annual Meeting are the follow:    

 

Daniel O. Dahlstrom (Boston University): “Attitudes and Choices.”

 

John Rist (Emeritus Professor of Classics and Philosophy at the University of Toronto; Visiting

Professor at the Augustinianum, Rome): “Freedom and Nature among the Greeks”

 

Timothy O’Connor (Indiana University): "Human Freedom and the Emerging Sciences of Brain

and Behavior"

 

Timothy Noone (The Catholic University of America): “Nature, Freedom and Will: Sources of

Philosophical Reflection”

 

At the 2007 Meeting, the Association’s Aquinas Medal will be presented to Nicholas Rescher of the University of Pittsburgh.  Several satellite and group sessions are also being organized.
